GET IT RIGHT TO BUY YOUR POOL

Thinking about the well-being of our consumer, we list some topics that must be observed when deciding to buy a swimming pool.

Get the Design/Model right

The swimming pool will be the main part of your home’s leisure area. Look for a brand that offers a wider variety of designs and sizes. This will expand your options and provide a perfect match with your leisure location.

Get the installation right

The pool model you are looking for has to be compatible with the space you have available for installation. Remember that you also need a space for circulation at least on the sides of the pool.

Consider the users

Some people want to relax and will possibly seek a spa pool. There are those who want to swim, they will probably look to buy bigger pools. Ask yourself what you want from a pool. This will help you get a better view of what you are looking for in a pool.

Why choose a fiberglass pool

A pool structured in fiberglass offers the customer a series of advantages:

• Quick Installation – Your fiberglass pool can be installed in less than two days after purchase, resulting in less disruption to your home.

• The glossy finish – Only fiber pools offer a surface finish called “gel-coat”, which is applied during fabrication. This differential avoids spending time and money on tiles, tiles, grouts, etc.

• Less maintenance – Under normal conditions, the “gel-coat” finish takes years to paint, cleans easily and resists stains.

• Smooth and Safe – Unlike some other materials, a fiberglass pool tank is non-abrasive and there are no sharp edges that can compromise the health of its users.

• Material flexibility – The high tensile strength of fiberglass allows the pool tank to be flexible, preventing cracks or fissures due to the accommodation or thermal expansion of the soil that can cause leakage in the pool.

• You get what you see – only with fiber pools will you be sure that the product that will be installed is the one you saw in the store, no surprises at the end of the work.

• Less chemicals – Because it is smooth and waterproof, unlike models with a rougher finish on the surface or joints, the pool with a fiberglass tank uses less chemicals and requires less time to clean.

Hit the reseller store

Choosing the store is another fundamental point for a good purchase to be consolidated:

  • Level of organization of the store and the quality of service provided. An organized company and good service are synonymous with professionalism.
  • Check with the PROCON in the region if the store has any complaints from consumers.
  • Analyze the financial suitability of the reseller store – consult Serasa or other advisory bodies.
  • Budget – make sure the budget presented by the merchant is clear and objective, specifying the terms and conditions of the deal.
  • Pay attention to prices well below the market average.

Search about the brand or manufacturer

Not all factories are the same. Always consider the following points regarding the pool tank manufacturer:

  • Check how long the manufacturer has been on the market. Research the manufacturer’s reputation. There are websites that provide you with this type of information, such as www.reclameaqui.com.br
  • Check the warranties offered by the manufacturer.
  • Check that the pool tanks produced by the manufacturer have a chemical barrier / triple layer.
  • Check if the finishing gel (which gives the pool its color) used by the manufacturer is industrialized by gel manufacturers. Homemade gel (produced in the same place where the pool tank is manufactured) tends not to have the quality of someone who specializes in gel production and the pool shade will tend to fade easily.
  • Assess the pool tank structuring. Not all brands offer good fiber structure to guarantee the quality of your pool.
